The world’s largest exchange, Binance announced that it will suspend withdrawals from 64 cryptocurrencies on Thursday (21). According to the broker, there will be no future announcement about the normalization of services for customers. In recent months, Binance announced that it would be maintaining trading pairs, making it impossible for customers to withdraw on cryptocurrency networks. Some of these maintenance, however, missed the deadline scheduled by the company, which caused concern in customers. One of the cases was the Cardano cryptocurrency (ADA), which during a 24-hour scheduled maintenance, the deadline ended up being extended much further.
Which cryptocurrencies will Binance suspend withdrawals from this Thursday?
As announced by Binance on its social media, the exchange will start maintaining 64 cryptocurrency wallets, which will make it impossible for customers to make withdrawals during the period. That is, if a trader needs his coins, he must first withdraw the value from the broker. According to the world’s largest exchange, this will be a routine procedure to organize Bitcoin wallets and 63 other cryptocurrencies. Maintenance is expected to start at 3 am Brasília time (6:00 UTC), and should last for three hours. In this way, it is possible for withdrawals to be normalized until 6 am in Brazilian time. In addition to Bitcoin, withdrawals in Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Polygon (MATIC), Stellar (XLM), among others will be affected.
