One of the most popular platforms for generating images using text instructions to artificial intelligence (AI) is Stable Diffusion (translatable as Stable Diffusion), and its name has been taken as a reference by a group interested in developing the generation of graphic content for adults from instructions using artificial intelligence. This group, made up of a dozen members, has used the Stable Diffusion AI engine as a base for their own developments with the aim of obtain realistic and quality images of adult content that, in addition, can be monetized. For this they have requested support through the Patreon platform, obtaining around $2,500 per month during the two months that the platform has been running thanks to several hundred donors.
Initially, the group’s objective was to share content and methods to improve the generation of adult images generated by AI, but gradually it has been developing its own system based on existing tools, such as the aforementioned Stable Diffusion, which, being open source allows this possibility, although initially it was not designed to generate porn but it does not prohibit its use for those purposes either.
The group behind Unstable Diffusion is accessible through a Discord bot that allows users to generate adult content after typing text descriptions of the expected result, although as with other AIs of this type, images often offer distortions in the figures represented in the image. Since these types of AI are “trained” from billions of images that they take as examples, it is probably only a matter of time before the result improves as developers can feed the system with more images that allow to refine its operation.
At the moment Unstable Diffusion claims to have generated over 4 million images with this AIThere are different categories based on styles, preferences and fetishisms, which range from channels only for men, softcore, hentai, BDSM… to a specific group for nudes of “non-human creatures”.
With the aspiration of being an ethical community Unstable Diffusion has prohibited the generation of images containing child pornographydeepfakes and excessive gore, users of the channel on Discord must submit to these limits, and the images generated must submit to content moderation.
The next step that this group is taking is to launch a Kickstarter campaign and look for investors to create a model that allows specialized use of this tool that makes it possible to generate content that can generate income for the platform through a business model, such as it happens on the internet with other adult content.
