Fewocious makes the biggest secondary sale of its career
The young artist, Victor Langlois, commonly known as Fewocious, has once again set him the newest and biggest secondary sales of his career. The digital artwork “The Sailor” was sold for 350 ETH, approximately $595,000 on the SuperRare marketplace. NFT was acquired by @capital6529 from its previous owner @yeahyeah2. The new owner also expressed his excitement over the latest purchase by saying, “Bringing a Fewocious to the 6529 family took a long time to come to fruition.” For Fewocious, breaking a record is not uncommon. He was also recognized as the youngest artist to be featured by Christie’s. The public’s enthusiasm for his works of art is so great that on the day of the “Hello, I’m Victor” NFTs auction, the huge traffic of buyers even brought down Christie’s website. The work “The Sailor” features a deformed human face, mixed with a cartoon. The looping NFT, peculiar to the Fewocious style, has numerous minute details, which often cannot be noticed at first glance.
bringing to @fewocious into the 6529 family has been a very long time in coming. ❤️ to @fewocious and congratulations to @batsoupyum / @krybharat on our side and @2Yeahyeah for making this happen. Welcome “The Sailor” to 6529 Fund SZN3! https://t.co/r1kmnzgEEC — 6529 (@punk6529) August 19, 2022
Rarible proposes the creation of an NFT marketplace for ApeCoin Holders
Rarible is not the only platform to pitch the idea of an NFT marketplace to the ApeCoin community. Recently, platforms like Magic Eden and Snag Solutions have already presented their proposals. The proposal aims for a “complete, customized NFT martekplace for ApeCoinDAO with 0% market fees over the decentralized cross-chain Rarible Protocol 3”. ApeCoinDAO ecosystem collections such as BAYC, MAYC, BAKC, BACC, and any other DAO curated collections will all be included in Rarible’s proposed NFTs marketplace. The NFTs marketplace would also support credit card payments via MoonPay and better customer support for the platform will be provided by Zendesk. The plan presented by Rarible is just an idea, which has yet to be revised and as a formal proposal submitted to the DAO for a vote. If the ApeCoin community approves the proposal, the Rarible team will implement the marketplace within 4 weeks.
hey @apecoin our new proposal to build you a community marketplace is the only one you’ll ever need. pic.twitter.com/JcJIvqLtYN

Anthony Hopkins announces launch of NFTs in partnership with Orange Comet
Two-time Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins has teamed up with the Orange Comet company to launch a collection of NFTs called “The Eternal Collection”. Hopkins revealed that the NFTs will feature various character archetypes he’s played over the years and will be available on OpenSea in mid-September. The collection will consist of three categories, Iconic, Legendary and Distinguished, each with 1, 10 and 1000 runs respectively. The first day of the auction (Iconic Category), will include an iconic and unique NFT animation incorporating all 10 archetypes, as well as a lunch/brunch with Sir Anthony Hopkins. The NFT series will also feature an exclusive IRL event for collectors, giving them access to meet one of Hollywood’s biggest icons.
As an artist, it’s been terrific discovering NFTs as the new canvas. Thank you @orangecometnft for immortalizing this old man. “The Eternal Collection” is built on Jungian’s archetypes, which I’ve referenced and conceptualized when building a character. https://t.co/ymJ1xkdWj3 — AHopkins.eth (@AnthonyHopkins) August 17, 2022
