The HBO Max streaming platform offers a varied catalog of film productions that will arrive in 2023. Some of them are direct premieres on the platform itself, while others will previously go through exhibition halls and after several weeks in theaters they can be enjoyed streaming.

Part of these releases correspond to feature film adaptations of comics and characters from the DC publisher, which belongs to the same conglomerate as the film production company Warner Bros. and the HBO Max streaming platform.
–«Aquaman and the Lost Reuno»: Jason Momoa is once again the king of the underwater world, having to protect Atlantis and the world from a potentially catastrophic threat.
-“Barbie”: Mattel’s popular doll is made flesh and blood in the anatomy of Margot Robbie while Ken takes on the human form of Ryan Gosling in this film directed by Greta Gerwig (“Little Women,” “Lady Bird”), who is co-writing the screenplay with his partner and also director Noah Baumbach (“Marriage Story”). –“Dune II”: Second part of the adaptation of the homonymous novel by Frank Herbert by the Canadian Denis Villeneuve. Timothee Chalamet returns as Paul Atreides and together with Zendaya he will assume a decisive role in the revolt of the inhabitants of the planet Arrakis against the Harkonen, against the backdrop of the galactic strategy for the control of the melange spice.
–”The Mystery of Salem’s Lot”: Feature film adaptation of a terrifying novel by Stephen King that has already had two screen adaptations in the form of a television miniseries, one in 1979 directed by Tobe Hooper and starring David Soul and James Mason, another in 2004, starring Rob Lowe and Donald Sutherland. A writer returns after decades to his town, where a threatening mansion hides a terrible secret.
–“Evil Dead Rise”: New sequel to the terrifyingly funny saga, the result of the talent of Sam Raimi (on this occasion only as a screenwriter) with cascoporro viscera and demons that threaten two sisters in their reunion after years apart.

–”The Flash”: Fourth (and quite possibly last) film incarnation of Ezra Miller as the world’s fastest man. The film has the attraction of the appearance of Ben Affleck but also of Michael Keaton, both in the role of Batman that they have previously played. In addition, the Spanish Maribel Verdú plays Flash’s mother.
–“The last train to New York”: American remake of the South Korean film “Train to Busan”. A zombie outbreak breaks out in the middle of a moving train without giving its passengers much of an escape option as the convoy plows through the tracks at full speed, threatening not only their lives but also those of the inhabitants of the destination city.
–”The Meg 2: The Trench”: Second installment of the fight of the character played by Jason Statham (accompanied by the Spanish Sergio Peris-Menchata) against a gigantic shark, taking the story beyond the original novel by Steve Alten on which the first film was based and which already gave rise to a literary series, so fans of this fight of man against the shark can hope that the thing does not end here.
